Drop Rates (for Macrocheira etc.)

The drop rates for items like Macrocheira are too low.
It's ok that they don't drop as often as the themed sets. But I've made atleast 200 runs Gorga t1 and I didn't see a single Macrocheira. All i got was 3 Gorga Quivers.

Please fix it, atleast on the higher tiers, so that players who want the skin can actually get it without making it a major part of their online times on DSO. This isn't Heralds Cloak..... But it certainly feels like it.

Update: Some 50 runs later, i still don't have it. Also the amount of pristine cores dropped could be a bit higher. Because nobody needs 8k tellu cores

 

I think you are farming a wrong map ... Macrocheira is not Gorga's exclusive item.
I will test few maps later tonight and tell you what was the outcome.

 

@trakilaki Oh you mean her (her?) quiver suppresses the Macro drop? That's an idea..

The thing is... macrocheira is even featured on Gorga's door. On medusa's it is not (but i guess Medusa has way too many alternative drops anyway)

 

Yep ... i forgot they made Macrocheira and Aegis Bow Hoaxbows.
They used to drop from monsters in Atlantis region as longbows but now Gorga drops Macrocheira. I did try on all difficulties and had no luck in around 30 kills. I would bet it will drop on normal as a level 40 item.
I have the old level 40 bow ... and I just noticed they will take our old items from us
They will melt them automatically with the expansion ... clowns.

 

@trakilaki I remember that old Aegis Bow... I wanted Legend but I just got it on my ranger
So do you propose farming Gorga? Do you think normal monsters have a chance of dropping Macro? I farmed Spawning Grounds on painful a bit but i got bored fast.... At least I got some colours from chests
