    One problem in your comparation. For mages you took bloody as example and there are too things wrong with your choise.
    1) He is not that smart to know that fireballs for farm are not a good idea
    2) he's stats are bad. not even close to a good mage and also half satts of that warrior.

    Anyway, everyone complain about warrior beiinng OP. Well yea, warrior is faster solo at most of the bosses, but not at all bosses. About farming in group i can tell you 100% sure that warrior is not the class who deal the most of the dmg, is the thierd one in that :). Nothing can beat the dmg made by dwarfs on crit builf and also speed build(if the dwarf have old gems). I agree that mages are the slower ones for solo farming, but your comparations was unlogical. Like taking a lv 1 char and compare it with lv 55 one.

    You didn't meet the right dwarfs in pvp with the right build :) sigri set and cube weapon on 1h are op :) cooldown ready for all skills in 2 sec which means unlimited stunts and escapes. 302% dmg on HS wich is a lot + heal .

    My point exactly...warrior is faster solo than everyone on bosses and thats not right since that class was built for defense/tanking and not for dmg dealing...A mage was created to do dmg hence the lower defence and despite that he is weaker than a tank when it comes to boss killing.At least we can agree upon something and that is that the mages are weak as hell when it comes to PvE..If top warriors such as u can agree to that says a lot about the game balance ...

    As to my comparations..i dont know why u think those were unlogical..u said bloodybones was not the best mage..so he was a random mage...he did 7 mins+ per kill with pink..a random warrior( not a top one ) did 3 min with green..The difference in gems between these 2 chars was most likely royal for the mage and way lower for warrior and still the warrior was way way better...If it was a royal warrior with all items 4x gold like bloodybones, then that warrior would do that kill in 1-2 minutes max with green.But yes..my comparation was unlogical because i shouldve showed one of your 30 sec kills vs a 7 min mage kill...Wouldve shown the huge gap between warriors and mages in pve....My bad for that x)

    Show me where exactly i said that fireball and mages are op in pve. I am talking about pvp and yes mages are way stronger than you think. I never said they beat the good dks. I never said that fireball is op in pve. All i said is stop whining all the time about how weak mages are in pvp. ANd i said it above too , that pve is the major issue. pvpwise everyone is weak against dks and ofc mages are weak too, no doubt about that

    One thing... the mage have better gems than that warrior... and full 4x gold items compared the the warrior...but it doesnt matetr if you have full gold items if are crafted with the wrong values and into the wrong uniques, and as i said, i understad your point and i agree that mages are lower in solo farming. The biggest problems in this are the way skills deal dmg...life if the boss move, thunder is kinda usless and for icesphere you need to be at a certain distance which is hard.

    So mages are stronger than i think but they cant beat DKs? They are also weak in pve apparently so what good does playing this class do nowadays other than investing time and money for nothing in playing it?

    Exactly.Most of the times u attack with your best skills that do 250-300% skill dmg and u either miss or wont hit at max dmg because the boss moves.The devs did not put a lot of thought when they made mage skills thats for sure.Theres no way for you to keep the boss in once place and do dmg when u do solo farm so most of your attacks will miss...when u play with a group even though the boss stands still u wont be able to do the same dmg a dwarf or a ranger..or even a warrior will do ...u will still be the last no matter how u put it.

    Of course its hard to beat dks. Whats so strange about it? Rangers cannot beat those dks with that so called op EA how could mages be able to do that? I remind you that i said mages are weak in pve and i agree they need buff there but when it comes to pvp its not like they are weak its like warriors are too strong and this has to change. there is no other class except dks that mages lose as easily

    wanna nerf the rangers even more? well fine by me. Just make sure that the q7 set for mages that allows them to spam fireballs endlessly is removed and then you can nerf the rangers. but i wonder how many of you mages would really love an idea of having q7 set not make fireball cost 10 mana only

    I dont understand this to be honest...So according to you, rangers cant beat dks despite the fact that ea has 3-4x dmg when compared to a fireball, yet a mage is strong when it comes to pvp ?How does this work exactly? U do realise that a mage will have to hit a warrior like 3-4 times to do what a ranger does with 1 EA right? And nowadays warriors use 2x-3x widow parts which only makes them stronger with each hit that a mage does to them because that set increases their armor/ressist and dmg right? This set from widow pretty much kills q8 spam.Whats left to do other than spam fireballs ? Nothing...

    Great idea..lets remove q8,q7 spam..what should the mage use for fighting in pvp then according to u? Frozen sphere..useless,,lightning..useles...q7-q8 removed according to u...we will play with magic missile only..all skills removed but magic missile ^^ Brilliant

    The mage is crap now despite all that spamming yet removing q7-q8 will fix things...Yes..when fireballs will do 500% dmg we can talk about removing q7-q8...at 126% dmg its uselees even if u spam it or not...Not that u have the time to stand still and spam it when u have to run in order not to die lol

    What you dont understand i wonder. you either dont want to understand or else i dont know why you cannot understand something this simple. every class has its own goods and bads. for example, mages are more fun to play. mages have the ability to spam spells while rangers have stronger skills with higher costs and have to play them well or if they miss they are dead.Just because rangers EA cannot beat dks and mages fireball is weaker, that makes mages weak overall in pvp? Mages can beat rangers and dwarves. The problem is clearly mages being weak in pve and dks power in pvp. Why you even talk about rangers in your argument. You should not.

    We can all agree that the mage has more bads than goods here lol...This was debated and the pros and cons were highlighted already plenty of times.You are correct though when u say that mages are fun to play but other than that theres nothing else to add to describe this class other than massive minuses.

    You have to realise that lots of mages have invested a lot of money and time into that class just to end up with a thousand of $ crap in the end.This is not right at all.Its not ok to be pot dependent when u do solo farm or to be the weakest of all classes despite having better gems and items.

    I am ok with warriors doing 30 sec kills, but im not ok when mages do 7 min kills even if they use better essence.As you said, each char has its pluses and minuses, but it looks like the mage nowadays only has minuses.This is what those who play this class are trying to fix here and this is why we complain on this topic.

    Yes, thats correct but also rangers and dwarfs can beat mages too.However none of these classes can beat warrior so the problem lies within the warrior class.

    Only because you brought up the q7 spam lol xD..A good warrior with 1hand will run through those fireball spams and attack u head on..your dmg is so small at 126% that he wont even have to bother dodging the fireballs lol..He will dodge EAs though because its 1-2 hits and he will be dead...with fireballs it will be 20-30 hits and dead..not that u have the luxury of hitting him that many times until u are dead xD...With EA it will be as if he is sitting in singularity and his armor will be reduced by a lot making the hits go for over 100k per hit..with fireballs its like 10-15k dmg per hit

    You can't understand, friend.

    War must do damage, otherwise it would be weak.

    War does more constant damage, the other classes give more explosive damage.

    War and Dwarf have advantage against bosses, Mages and Ranger on the map.

    (end level) In pvp Mage can kill everyone except war 1H. War has advantages against everyone except Ranger. Ranger is good against everyone.

    Dwarf is like a war, but better. Balanced because at high levels it does less damage.

    These three characters are good, the only one who has problems is the Mage.

    Why? Because it's a weaker Ranger. Low defense + a single escape are not enough... Give the Mage skills to work better.
    Ranger is like a wizard, but he has more defense and better ability to dodge.

    Compare your class to a more similar class, like Ranger. You can not compare Mage and War, because they are different.
    Buff Mage, STOP. Stop asking nerf war ;)

    No nerf, friend. Nerf is bad.

    Mage can spam attacks with low damage.

    Ranger can:

    -Spam dance of blades;

    -Hit with great damage;

    -Take more damage, cause more defense.

    Ranger has more advantages.

    Give the magician a single strike (not spammable) with good damage.

    In this way, magician will have:

    -Hit with great damage;

    -Mage can spam attacks with medium damage.

    And Ranger:

    -Spam dance of blades;

    -Hit with great damage;

    -Take more damage, cause more defense.

    Change, for example, frozen sphere and make it useful against war and pve.
    Simple...

    either you want it or not wars need nerf. you cannot have a class have everything and the only thing they luck is range. the biggest problem is that they can deal tons of damage while at the same time have incredibly high hp which makes the regenaration skill even more effective. pvp will change alot if dks stop have regenaration. IF they buff mages in pvp and not nerf dks, what will happen is that dks will still beat everyone but will mages will beat the other classes easier. dks will still live. a class being able to deal as much dmg as the others and whatever dmg you do to them is getting healed is absurd and nowadays and thanks to the cube set the healing is way higher. And im not a 1 char player. i have both ranger and dk. both high level and i know that the dks is way stronger in many aspects

    - No range.

    The other classes, however, what they do not have?

    - High constant damage.
    - Healing.

    Ranger 1H, in pvp, is really strong:
    Gwenfara weapon (+200 damage); more damage (EA 500% vs Smash 240%); OP escape (Dive + Adrenaline and Blade dance).
    Except healing, he has everything he needs to win. With the same statistics as a war (thanks to gwenfara). And HUNTING TRAPS without cooldown, very useful against war. ;)

    60% of the time, the war plays a game where if you guess, no damage, if not, take damage.
    The remaining 40%, the war, gets the chance to play this game with the opponent...
    The characters with range, however, make this game with the war 100% of the time.

    That comes from somebody that claims to be an experienced high end ranger...oh god.
    This thread is sadly becoming more and more a joke. Inexperienced players trying to act pro and even fail at simple game basics :rolleyes:
    Just for your info: the explosion is not and has never been dealing double skill/650% dmg when marked. It does however break the opponent's armor (given he is marked, not immune to that and t5 is skilled) and deal the explosion dmg directly on broken armor. On normal mobs this almost looks like doubled dmg, however, it is due to ~13%armor and not a doubled skill dmg for the explosion :rolleyes:

    oh is that so? so just because i made this mistake means im not experienced right? well, then i will have to inform you that even the best of the best make mistakes and even trakilaki himself who is older in this game than me has made alot. 1-2 mistakes does not make you look inexperienced and if you meet me in game i will show you whos the inexperienced and believe me you dont want that son.

    well this is what this whole thread is .... to change the WAY thunder or some other skill deal dmg .... like bravo its good you understand it i have now hope ppl wont only think of dmg buff but rather quality buffs.

    It's just that every time I read your posts they consist of "look at me i am highend im experienced, you are not" and at the same time spreading false facts, which is pretty embarassing given that you claim to be so highend, just look at your last sentence. I cannot take you seriously. Try to research your stuff first before you come here telling other people they have insufficient knowledge and claim to be a pro.

    But since this is not related to the actual topic, here another thing about balancing:
    Dragonknights most favored argument in the 1h dk/1h ranger balancing discussion is the overpowered EA and that a critting ea can deal excessive dmg. Well, in these days most dks start to realize that %armor on shoulders and especially %armor on torso is way better than %armor on this item for torso. It's pretty easy to reach 80% armor after break since the malus is applied on base armor, not on total armor (armor * %armor).
    With 80% armor all the time, a dk becomes nearly unkillable for every ranger unless he's very lucky with non-blocked crits. That renders EA completely useless (too much conc costs for zero effect/less effect than prec shot). A well built dk with 14kdmg/150khp/80%armor after block will heal away any dmg dealt by prec shot (15-20k blocked) in a few seconds.
    Without any chance to break through 80%armor, we are back in lvl 40/45 where a tank was able to become absolutely immortal vs rangers, and that was even without the massive healing they have today.

    Also for example q7 set buff. Everychar can activate the buff a few sec after is over... over and over again. For war and dwarf it also gives 50% speed on smash and HS, for ranger no CP need for EA. IMO they should remove fireballs spamm from the weapon and add something like 50% less mana needed for all skills.

    Ranger, with gwenfara, can get the same stats. Gwenfara bow can reach 600 damage lv 60. A 1h weapon with 600 damage... :)

    The warrior, against Ranger, has:

    Strong stun; Healing.

    The Ranger has:

    Strong antistun / evasion; Range.

    Ranger, compared to any other character, can run away from a war.
    Ranger dodges and hits ...

    Healing forces the Ranger to reach war. Healing is a tool of the war to force other characters to play the same game.
    Without healing, Ranger has the knife on the side of the handle, always.

    The ranger would deal double damage (240% vs 500%) with range, and more evasion. Why precise shot? He has EA, remember.
    Without healing, the war would be at a disadvantage:

    War:

    -Stun.

    Ranger:

    -Double damage; Best escape and Range.

    Conclusion: dead war.
    - Healing is strong, but removing it is not the solution.

    True, war is strong, but... also Ranger.

    The problem is fundamentally this:

    Ranger has too much damage and evasion in pvp, war needs healing to win.
    Remove healing? Remove high ranger damage or evasion, or Ranger wins.

    Interesting concept but if we speak about it q4 oriented build is oriented to have 150 + mana so why not go q4 then(since there is plenty of mana) ?. Ill say something to modify frozen sphere will be an iteresting thing.
