Can't enterh Eternal Grove and other areas

    I am trying to follow the quests and I keep running into a block. When I try and enter certain regions that is on a quest, I can't. I get the message, You have not fulfilled the region's entry requirements. Sometimes it is a new region and sometimes, I was on a quest and entered the region one day, but the next day I couldn't go back in to finish the quest. How can I go into a region one day, but not the next? I have many quests that I can't finish because I can't get into certain regions. I have looked at the Compendium tab of the Journal screen, I see that I have finished up all the previous quests. So, What have I left out? how can I find what "Requirement" I am missing.

    First thought... check to make sure the difficulty slider has not moved over to painful or higher.
