Confused

Is there any way to gain Experience in increased amounts? I have run out of quests and am 120K short of next experience level. Am I correct in assuming that the only way to level now is by redundant and repetitious extinction of current level monsters for the next 4 to 5 hours play? I am afraid this will cause me to become tediously bored and harbor thoughts of dropping the game. Any ideas guys and gals? Thanks for listening.

 

120k is not much in my opinion,but there are pets and scrolls you can get that boost the xp like the fatty dragon pet.

 

120k is not a lot what level are you?

 

Have a few 50's like many players do, lv 50 goes for 48mio exp each

 

Depending on level, but I would say you can earn 120k exp in no more than 30 minutes at any level past 30.

And if you are telling us, you get bored that quickly, then perhaps you should get a break, watch a movie or something, or take a break for few days, and come back after. It would be refreshing.

Bored may have been a too strong of a word. I dont seemto gather that much exp killing off mobs at present. But I do enjoy the game , so Im sureI'll keep chipping away at it.

 

Well, you just hit the first slow part. That is the first time where doing the quests is not enough by itself to level you. That being said, that should be expected in any hack n'slash. You will experience this from here out, and the particularly painful ones are 42-45 and 48-50. To grind out 34 to 35 will take you less than an hour if you fight Sigrismar a bunch of times, but the 42-45 and 48-50 could take you any where from a couple of days to a week. IMO, this game is the most easist one to leveling. There are quests, experience buff, PW, etc. But that doesn't mean it's not boring. In my case, I always using a window mode while playing movie so I can play and watching movie or west tv series at the same time. Especially during those "grind fest" event. It helps me to improve my english listening skill too
Or just listening to music.
My point is, it's not that hard to gain exp, but repetitive and boring? Yes. But maybe that's just me.

Back to topic, you should try exp scroll or farming in group if you really think it's hard to gain exp. Oh and join a guild and make some friends too. Good luck.

When i level, i usually do only the quests for the level i'm in, and save the higher level quests for when i'll be at that level. I'm doing other stuff (events, PWs, farming for stuff) until i hit the next level (or 50 ), it worked for me so far.
