I thought about that, but I have crit and dmg on 2 rings and hard to replace them for Resist.
Need to farm a belt with good crit lines to replace the hp one I got now.
Untill then, this will be in my locker safe :)

Yeah... it would be nice if you could fill those diamond-slots with onyxes to make up for crit. loss, but sadly the two gems are not in the same category. Anyway, those are indeed some big lines, I forgot to mention.

Solo pw farm setup focused on conc and dmg. Playing with fully skilled blade dance to mark mobs and reset cooldowns on thorn thicket, net, adrenaline.

Very nice setup and stats and smart play style, you recognized that attack speed is not the only important factor and that you don't need too much speed when you have tons of concentration and you can drop 2-3 big bombs to decimate the enemy lines, then blade dance to recharge your ammo and again 2-3 big bombs and they're dead.
Nice crit dmg by the way.
You'll have even more concentration with the new upgraded solstice stars.

One day I will be able to farm like you, solo and fast, straight to the targets (mini bosses) without having to waste time with trash mobs on the way (like you do when you're in a group), but if I setup for dmg build, I will get about the same dmg, crit and concentration as you, but 3k hp XD... so if I solo I have to run around all the time in order to not die, but then I'll be slower than in a group.

For now I'll have to farm in groups until I get stronger

The most potential in my current build is in crit rate. I'm planning with the upcoming Grimmag unique adornment to improve this greatly, Im also planning on using the grimmag set too, depending on that firestorms dmg blade dance will be causing, looking forward to testing here :)

You know, when I saw that unique's description with the blade dance, I instantly thought of you :D

Awesome stats, strong dmg with good speed. But who cares about resist when your crit is so low. I have 58% now and I still feel it's very low.
Also, the breakpoint for deadly blow is 1.6
So with 1.59 you will have 1.49 speed breakpoint (if I'm not mistaken) and only on the second hit you will reach 1.6 breakpoint (if you use the skill).

PS: now I just saw you're only level 48 so you're really strong for a player who hasn't even got to 50 yet

yeah its really hard for me to get my crit up considering i am using shied with shortbow but i'm still trying. i normally have about 4-6k crit when i use Dragon Slayer Quiver but then that takes away my block rate lol... but one day i will find a good shield to replace it HOPEFULLY. and oh btw ty for the tip on the speed breakpoint for deadly bow,i'm gonna go change it asap...:)

lol, your 33% blockrate is useless in my opinion. Just group with a good aggro tank and play with quiver.
Otherwise... have at least 70-80% blockrate if you use shield, it's not worth it to lose a lot of crit for 33% block
PS: You have that dmg with shortbow wow. I was thinking you use longbow :D

    Hi!
Rangers are heavy damage here, but it saddens me to see how the class ranger lost consciousness and was transformed into a false magician.
I hope someday to see the ranger returns to class I fell in love.
    Regards.

Here's my little guy with Dark Gear. Lost some max damage, a speed break point, some resistance. Gained 13% critical hit rate, 6% armor, minimum damage, and some HP from knowledge points that became redundant. I also enjoy the look of this set so that is a factor for now :). What do you think?

Tron, I used your stats posted a few pages back and did a DPI calculation to compare the two builds. Overall, you've gone down using the Dark build by 271 points. About a 4% loss in damage. Not an earth shattering loss, but enough to consider if it's worth it depending on your prefered playstyle. ie, more defense for less offense. Also, depending on how many points you had released by the change, getting to 1.77 spd would be the next break for 15 frame attacks. It would be a noticable difference for your mouse attack.

Although it is just a math formula and can't take all factors into consideration. I find this to be a very useful tool when trying to figure out if a new piece would be better or worse than what I have on already.

In either case;; gratz on good builds.

I did some PW runs tonight and I definitely miss the 1.91 speed. I also put the knowledge points back into attack speed to get to 1.77-1.78. That's mostly for bosses, though. I use marking Death Sweep and prefer to melee and Explosive Arrow mobs, which is why I like the 1.91. It allows me to get more Deadly Blows in, refilling my Concentration faster, and allowing me more last hits on mobs while in groups (more HP and concentration).

I'll have to play around with it more, but I feel like I was using less essence on Grimmage. With higher attack speed comes more essence use so if I can bump my crit to compensate I'd prefer that.

Why are you not using the set's gloves as well? Are those legendaries better (you also lose out on a bonus, if I'm not mistaken)? Also, LOL @ those small greens, hehe.

Small greens are for when I run out of big greens and don't want to auto-slot blues when I pick them up ;). Here are my gloves.

    That's brilliant, why didn't I think of that?????????? :D

I was annoyed by constantly having to drag the blue and green essence into the inventory because it would get auto slotted
And that 9999 cheap essence only costs 50 silver

I used to do that when farming silver ess early on because you used to auto slot that too.

5th set bonus from darkness set is not useful.
    (5) "Shroud of Darkness": "Dive" gives you and all allies within a 3 meter radius 30% higher armor and resistance values for 4 seconds; cooldown time of 8 seconds.

Its good to use 4/5 darkness set and use a good legendary or a unique instead of the full darkness set

And those gloves are a nice addition to the set.
