No Sound FX After Release 147 Hotfix

    Since the servers got back online after the hotfix for Release 174 was installed (about 3 hours ago) I'm hearing no sound except for the ambient background sounds in Castle Ravenclaw, and on top of that I don't think I've never experienced this much lag before... The screen is so jerky that the game has become unplayable.
    I'm on Heredur server.
    I've also had 2 nebula3 crashes since the fix.
    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    PS. I have checked the sound settings in-game and they're enabled.

    The Heredur server has had some lag for some time, but it is getting worse. Especially after the last event started. The game has become unplayable and this has been reported for some time, but nothing happens. Instead we are always told to check our internet connection and our PC, but my connection and PC are fine and works with other online games perfect. So I can not understand why DSO is unable to fix the problem. There was never a problem with my older PC with Windows 7, but now with 8.1 here is a terrible lag.

    i think they put the sounds on the wrong channels.
    i have music off but when im in map3 in event the music is on.
    and i heard the loud sounds too.
    im sure they r working on it. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Getting the same thing... audio is a total chaos.

    EDIT: there's also little-lasting freezes upon, for example, opening/closing the chat... plus PvP lag (which cost me about 2 free wins), and the client just crashed. I was able to reopen it after several tries.

    EDIT 2: "Play now" button won't work... now I really know why people are so hard on the "BUGpoint" nickname.

    My sound effects are out of sync. Time depends on which ma I'm in. I was just soloing map1 and timed it - 1 whole minute behind the action lol

    I know some players don' even play with sound, but for me, I find it helps my gameplay.

    Not just yours ... everyone's sound effects are out of sync.
    I play with sound on too ... but always set the music to 0 ... and now i can hear the music even if it is set to 0.

    Even worse sounds now with R148... some things are now muted for me.
