Grimm Robe

So..been farming grimm robe for months now, 3-5 I'd say, and well nothing. Ive seen noobs(I say that from there time in the game, not out of disrespect) with it. It's annoying and I'm a bit fed up.

Anyone have any advice/ideas on farming it, I believe I've done it all but never know.

Haha, I did awhile ago, If I remember correctly, he said sig normal for 4 months, Done that, and nothing. xD

 

Grimmag's Starry Robes? I got it 2 times within 1 1/2 months on one of my alts along with Forgotten Gloves x 2 but I seem to have luck in getting these drops. (Ask Lady) It is as ugly looking as a Christmas sweater.

 

May I ask where at?

 

I think it was on my 4th run of Sigris Hard. Most of farming group was much higher levels.

Wiki says it drops from random 30-40 monsters, but Sigris is only confirmation I have.

Found mine in Temple Sector, caveat is that was probably 6-8 months ago, if that means anything. Wore it for several months 'till set values on other gear finally won out. 'Pound for pound', one of the better pieces of equipment out there. Hope your luck soon changes.

I have had 2 of those drop for me, but I don't think it'll be of much help. I got one from opening a leg chest while level 30 or so, and another during the most recent Dragan event when I was 37 or 38 and killing the knights in Castle for pearls.

 

I got a few of those way back during the first defeat the undefeatable. All from Sigi normal.

I have found this very thing happen that is very strange. Not with these robes but with a lot of other uniques. The drop rate seems to climb right when the drastically reduced price list changes. And I am in EST the times uniques start to raise are between 3 am and 6 am. Hope that helps. Sigris normal would seem hard pressed. Sigris is stingy with everything else.

Is atlantis over water better than temple sector for farming level 40 gear?

 

if ur level 40+ go to pw for gear,better chance at legends

 

I agree, but there are times where you might want a low stress map for farming keens, yachaks, roshan or sparks plus anders, gems etc while doing something else or on a laggy laptop wifi. Level 40 maps allow that.

 

Over the years I've had 5 Grim robes on my SW, all from Sigris normal and all during Defeat the undefeatable events. Seems to be the case for a lot of players, but it's all random right? lol

 

I honestly don't think Grimmag's Robe is worth the time and effort...unless you get it in a few tries. I looted a level 32 legendary robe with +387 armor and +96 hitpoints with gem 3 slots. Sure, it doesn't have +10 mana and +1 mana/s, but that's nothing. If I were you, I would either search for a legendary drop, or craft one.

 

The 50 mana it gives is what attracts me. It's a game changer in pvp for fireball

 

That +10 mana upgrades very nicely, namely up to +40 at level 45 for just shy of 1M Glyphs. Also, the guarenteed slots and the nice armor isn't bad either. Just take a look at this chart I pulled off the wiki.

436 armor for a SW, and + 40 mana... I know SWs with over 200 mana who can do tons of lighting strikes, telaport, tons more, and then telaport again... by the time they use up their mana with a slower high damage weapon, they can do it all over again. That makes it beast for PvE too, not just PvP with fireball.

 

Oh I agree, I usually help the DK on mortis for a quicker run, with that extra man, and the lvl 45 mc talent, theres 9 possible lighting strikes on mortis in a matter of seconds.
