Later I got one of those computer generated emails from BigPoint requesting ID and more information. I sent the reply as instructed, and got a message that I shouldn't send to that address. Do Not Reply! What a load of manure!

 

I have been sent a few of these as well, and always is broken page/link. Got one from Top Gamers Club like it as well. Tried support... and after way too much hassle for what its worth, I did get the bonus. Now, I just let them die in my inbox. Just another broken part of the game right?

Those codes never worked for me on the sever I played. You can fix the url but it normally goes to a sever your not playing on. This code seems to point to the tegan server.

 

It might be acceptable in Europe, but in the US it is considered consumer fraud and false advertising. It's an open 1-way contract. Send me my stuff.

 

I am not sure about that. They are all same ... everywhere.
Try to call Google ... and try to get customer's support ... try to talk person to person.
You can't ... because every time you make selection you get a voice of a robot ... and you have selected option to speak with one of the employees. That is false advertising too ... yet ... I haven't heard of Google being prosecuted so far.

 

What companies can get away with is another thing entirely. Several companies channel service calls into a maze of buttons and hold times/queues that go on forever. It's cheaper than paying for real people, if they can wear you down and out.
The companies argue that eventually, you will get to a real person. LOL

You can talk to a lawyer about it, but try to put a $ amount on you damages. Not worth the price of a phone call.
