120 ander respawn

basicly i was attempting to kill skely dragon for my ring of death quest and died of course after i got his hp low and used the 120 ander respawn, after wich he heals back to full hp...are you kidding me??? after using all those potions and ess i feel like i've been cheated big time!

yes i was aware of this happens(forgot) this is a problem and needs to be fixed

until i leave the instance the monster should NOT heal even if i die and respawn....wich you have to pay ander for .......

 

Yeah, it's a EDIT , but hey....we all have to deal with it

But I do think they should have some time frame as to how long it takes someone to respawn and the actually regen of Skeletaldragon.

 

Hate to be the one to break this news - but unless they changed something drastically - you have to beat Mortis to actually kill the Skeledragon. The first time you beat the Skeledragon, it doesn't die. It flies away and returns with Mortis on its back. So, if you're having problems soloing the first Skeledragon... you're probably wasting your time being in there by yourself..

 

Get good gear, a solid group and a solid plan. I'm a fairly decent 1H DK and I need red ess, pots, and a good set of soulkillers backing me up when I try to tank mortis, and have never soloed him.

And for all of that, I've only got one mortis kill as the lead tank.

And yeah, like multi-sev pointed out, its a two stage fight. Beat skeledragon, then beat mortis+skeledragon

 

There are some videos on youtube of people doing it solo, so it is possible, but they certainly don't make it look easy... loads of potions used.

It's the second part that really requires a ton of effort, not just to kill Mortis, but to deal with the Knights and Ghosts that are part of that 2nd regeneration...
The first part is actually doable with good dmg and armor, it's the 2nd part with all the ghosts and knights that really makes doing the full quest so hard.

 

I believe what he meant is the first Skeldragon will regen IF you solo him and die. I know a long time I ago I got "brave" and tried to solo him and when I died he did regen all his hp. I believe that's what the original topic was about.

 

Yeah, but I think he's under the impression that if he finishes that fight with Skeledragon (the 1st one) he will get the Ring of Death. That's what a lot of people think at first (I did). But, as we now know, you have to beat Mortis to get the Ring of Death.

Just trying to save some people a lot of wasted time, HP pots and essences.

 

Yeah, I thought that too, seeing as it can be greatly altered by just changing the questline to "Defeat Mortis", But seeing this as BP... Though yes, must defeat mortis to get 1st ring. Then 9999999 times to get your 2nd.

 

Yeah, they could have definitely made the wording on the first Ring of Death quest a little more clear. Most people don't know you have to beat him the second time until he flies away and you notice your quest didn't complete. But, then again, I guess surprises can be good. This one just tends to be a nasty let-down type of surprise for most players.

 

Yeah, I was definitely under the some impression. To date, I still only beat him 3 times. Not an easy task by a long shot. You need the right group, a bunch of pots and essense

 

Am on Agathon myself, but Mortis groups are hard to find nowadays. Hard to finish caves cause the lack of people for that also xD. In time....I guess...

 

Nah, it is easy to find a Mortis group. All I need to do is ask two to four friends if they are interested in killing souls for me and I can get 5-10 runs at a time.
